Dodgems in the rain.

I've never seen so much laughter at a wedding as Laurie & Rob surprised their guests with fairground Dodgems. Their wedding ceremony was held at John the Baptist Church, Pinner followed by a transport themed reception at the lovely Aldenham School, Hertfordshire.  http://www.aldenham.com/about/Weddings_and_Ceremonies.php.

Rob is learning ' The Knowledge' hoping to become a London Black Cab driver and clever little touches alluded to this fact throughout the day. The Bride & Groom travelled from the church to Aldenham in a White London Cab, the table names were roads in London with love connections or connections to the Bride & Groom and of course there were the Dodgems!

The staff at Aldenham are fantastic and this was the best fish and chips I have ever tasted!

July Tangerine Dream.

I have a few spare moments today and thought it was about time I told you about some more of my lovely weddings this year.

Gemma and Steve's wonderful orange colour scheme brought a ray of sunshine to a not so sunny July.
They were married at St Mary's Church, Hertingfordbury, Hertfordshire. 

They were very lucky to be able to hold their reception in the grounds of St Joseph's in the Park School right next door to the church as a family member works there.

Gemma and Steve chose The Lobster Pot for their catering. www.lobsterpotcatering.co.uk.

Although for the most of the day I was working in a documentary style, Gemma and Steve asked me to photograph a few informal groups.

The evenings entertainment was provided by 'Take Off That'

It was a wonderful, fun day and it was a pleasure to be a part of it.
