Lovely autumn wedding at the end of October. The trees looked amazing and the colours were echoed in the bridal bouquet and table settings.
Twigs, fir cones and dried fruit adorned the tables and 'Travel' was the theme.
Each centre piece was made from a lantern filled with fruit and pine cones and each table had a different photograph of the couple on their travels.
The table plan, designed and made by Helen the bride, consisted of an old leather suitcase, open with the travel photographs attached to string with tiny wooden pegs alongside cards detailing the seating arrangements.
It was placed on a table decorated with 'travel' props:- an old camera, well used travel books and old globe. Closed suitcases sat alongside a basket of travel labels that guests could complete with wedding wishes for the bride and groom and then tie onto the suitcases. The whole table was finished off with a garland of heart shaped twigs. Beautiful!
